Came here maybe three years ago and I remembered the meats were more delicious than a competitor. So decided to take my dad here since it is also super close. We got the C option with wagyu this time. The wagyu is American wagyu and average quality American wagyu I would say. The portion on the one order per person items are very small. Actually in general the portions are small. Even the pork jowl is like 3-4 pc per portion. The pork jowl was very good, I recommend grilling it longer so that it's golden and crispy. Slightly disappointed that only the top option has cold noodles. But the cold noodles were the best ayce spicy cold noodles I've had thus far. Just sad it's only available on the top option since normally I don't go for that. Unfortunately all this combined puts Goong outside of my go to list because at the low end ($30 ish pp) I don't get my cold noodles and the meats don't standout. At the high end($50-60pp) there are options with clearly better meat. A good meal nonetheless but would run to come back.

This location is right down the street from my house; absolutely love it but what is there not to love about Korean bbq Has the favorites: steamed egg and corn cheese can't go wrong

I came here with some friends for a midweek dinner and was pretty impressed by the selection! We went with the $50 tier and ordered some really high quality meats. The appetizer selection was plentiful--they had basically anything you could think of as an option, like lettuce wraps, ssamjang, bossam, tteokbokki, sweet potatoes, and more--and everything we ordered tasted great. The marinades also tasted great on the marinated beef options. I was also happy to hear that they served barley tea! Only small points is that I wish there was rice paper consistently, and other variations of pickled radish (e.g., julienned and pickled in white vinegar). If you want an even more luxe experience, their highest tier might be worth it. The meat quality was good for the middle tier, but didn't absolutely blow me away, so maybe it's a matter of getting what I paid for haha. For the price point, and compared to other places at a similar price point, I was pleased with our experience. Service was timely and helpful. We never waited too long for any food item or a grill change. I'd definitely come back with friends again!

Love the serving size And the good have variety selection. This is my first time coming here and as 4 adults with one infant and one toddler they accommodate us. The place has a traditional way of sitting and we glad to have it because we can sit our kiddos next to us not restrained in little chair. I would love to come back here from time to time.

Quality is on point here. I am always so please whenever I go eat on Goong. For being an AYCE spot, their meats melt in your mouth. I came here on a Saturday night with my huband and our friends and it was not a long wait at all! 8pm only took about 15-2min. You can also make a reservation if you have a party of 6 or larger so thats nice to know! Food: We ordered the second tier and their selections are great. Some of my favorites were the hanger steak, marinated short ribs, and the kim chi fried rice. They also had a very vast selecton of side dishes. Their japchae was my favorite because it had so much flavor! Price: i think each person paid around $38 for the second tier which is so worth it for the quality of meat. Service: the staff was very quick, and friendly. the food we ordered came out reletively fast from the moment we requested things. Ambiance: the restaurant has a traditional korean seating option available as well! We were able to sit with our shoes off which made the experience feel even more authentic. I highly reccomend this place for anyone who is looking for a great experience, flavor, and high quality service.

One of the best AYCE KBBQ spots I've ever been to! I usually never go to AYCE places since the meat quality isn't the best and everything is pretty mid, but I was blown out of the water by Goong's meat quality, great service, and how all the side dishes were so delicious! We came as a huge group and made a reservation for the room so we could still be close to each other. We went with the Goong set which I highly recommend because the premium meat choices such as the short rib and pork jowl were my favorites. Surprisingly, the marinated finger short rib from their standard set was a crowd favorite - super juicy, fatty, and just the right amount of seasoning so it wasn't overpoweringly sweet or salty. All of the appetizers we ordered were really good and I don't think there was a particular dish that was bad. My favorite appetizers were the kimchi pancake, tteokbokki, and steamed egg. Must-orders to compliment the meat are pickled radish, garlic, jalapeno, green onion salad, and surprisingly the cilantro salad paired really well! I was super satisfied with my visit here and I think it's a must-visit when you're in Vegas!

Glad you are still here. Left Mura w/ a bad experience- see my previous review. Was attended to every single staff member here from the beginning till the check. Have been coming here before they've where AYCE- SW local. Won't be trying any other kbbq spot anymore

What I ate: - AYCE standard tier: Honestly, I'm not so picky with my meat choices, and the standard tier really fit my needs with no frills. For the price point this hit the spot Pros: - I liked that there were different AYCE tiers, and it seems like each tier came with great options, with the most premium tier boasting Wagyu cuts - Service was really amazing. Staff walked by frequently and often, asking if we needed anything. Grills were changed without being asked. Tables didn't have a call button, and they weren't needed here since staff were always around and available - Traditional seating with a twist. There was a row of floor seating, but you didn't have to sit on the floor criss cross applesauce and develop dead leg. There was an area to lower your legs into. Much more comfortable than sitting on the floor - Booth seating was nice and big. No problem seating 6 adults - Not much of a wait when we went in a little before 6pm on a Saturday night Cons: - None that I can think of, other than the fact that I don't live in Vegas Would I come again? Next time I'm in town, yes!

I was impressed with the experience here. Menu was diverse- not just meat and veggies. We had the premium menu and had the option of variety of different items! Had the scallops, bibimbap, the king kalbi was the best meat. I have to say that all these premium meat places don't actually taste like premium to me. The banchan here has very great flavor and we loved every bite! Overall, I love that they have the variety of things and not just meat and veggies. Scallops, tofu soup, bibimbap, and other appetizers were wonderful. We had a great shaved ice cream Azuki dessert at the end which was lovely. Service was great and efficient. I would definitely come back here again when in Vegas! Roomy tables and decor is modern and nice.
